Is
Striker ™ Performance Wear waterproof and breathable?
Yes. All jackets, pants, bibs and gloves are waterproof, windproof
and breathable. Jacket and pant shells are constructed out of specially
fabricated high tenacity nylon and coated or laminated to provide
efficient fabrics for the outdoors. What
is Hydrapore™?
Hydrapore™ system technology is specifically designed to
provide maximum protection against extreme weather elements. Hydrapore™
has a superior 3,000/3,000 rating (or even higher 5000/5000 rating on some items) for resisting water penetration and
for breathability. Compare to other premium brands which offer only a
1,500/2,000 rating. Hydrapore™ technology involves applying a high
tech polyurethane coating to properly sized manmade fibers to achieve
the desired level of performance. The Hydrapore™ system technology
is used on our high tenacity nylon fabrics and also on Taslan fabrics.
All treated fabrics are tested in our own labs for performance
characteristics. What
is Ultraguard™?
Ultraguard™ laminated technology provides an even higher level
of protection than our Hydrapore™ system, offering a rating of
10,000/10,000 for resisting water penetration and for breathability.
Competing fabric systems often employ a heavy hanging membrane that only
provides a 10,000/5,000 rating, meaning less breathability. The
Ultraguard™ system is laminated to the base fabric for unmatched
performance and lightweight. Ultraguard™ is used for all weather
shells and high end rain gear. How
do I clean my Striker™ jackets, pants, and bibs?
Machine wash in cold water with no other articles and without
bleach. Hang and air dry. Machine drying can
degrade the performance of the fabrics. Refer to the care label on each
garment. What
if I have a problem with my Striker™ products?

is Thermadex™ insulation?
Thermadex™ brand thermal insulation is designed for use in
outdoor active wear where a lightweight, superior insulating performance
and optimal loft is required. Thermadex™ uses microfiber
construction to provide a thin and low loft density padding that is
soft, durable and flexible. Thermadex™ provides warmth, softness
and breathability without the bulk.
What if I have a leakage problem with my Striker™ Boots?
Any water leakage usually occurs at seams. Despite being factory
sealed, seams may eventually leak. Apply Sno-Seal on seams following
directions on the label. Sno-Seal is available at most sporting goods
stores. My
back elastic panel on my Striker™ pants seem to let in
moisture. Is this a problem?
No. The outer and inner fabrics are Hydrapore™
waterproof/breathable. The elastic material is not waterproof. It is
possible for moisture to leak through seams in the fabric. Although this
is rare because seams are sealed at the factory. Moisture can be trapped
between layers causing a moist sensation, even though no moisture passes
through to the user. Apply Sno-Seal to the exterior seams if this is a
